...i have a couple friends who cant make it..so i have 2 xtra..sec. 206 together...unfortunately these friends were also supposed to be driving..so n e 1 wanna carpool ?...i also booked 2 hotel rooms as well a mile from the venue...btw these are hard tix not the printer ones...i saw that b.s. happen here @ wrigley field many a time..shame on them !!

i don't know at what point some of you lost track of your mindframe. the dead has always been a symbol of freedom, without limitation. so many folks are posting negative energy remarks regarding tour supporting kids not working, supporting a candidate that actually has some chance of supporting freedom, etc. if the primary concern on the scene today is to talk down on it, then stay home and listen to sean hannity, because it takes more than buying the newest steal your face shirt to care. ann coulter used to be a dead fan, that doesn't make her worth listeneing to today. i can't believe that there is such a volume of people who know dead.net exists who are so against trying to fix anything

and i am aware ann coulter is a dead fan. of course we like the music, it is the best. however, when jg was around they were not making a stand with any liar from the beltway. thank god. obama is a socialist and the republicans pander to the christian right. if you really want a change try a new party, like the libertarians. i will always love the tunes and i don't want my freedom infringed upon. unfortunately, both parties stomp on this. change? how about a real change? like a new party, one that is not already in bed with lobbyists and special interests. think about it. for real.

Disillusioned with the system - make a difference by standing up, not whining about it. Think you know what Jerry Garcia would do? I am pretty sure you do not. Just because you have strong feelings about an issue and you are a fan of the Grateful Dead does not mean that you have the same ideology. Jerry Garcia's name is not something that should be evoked to try and tilt a debate your direction. There is not a doctrine for the beliefs of Jerome John Garcia - he changed his mind a lot (and likely would have over the 13+ years since he passed on.) There is nothing that gives us the right to say this ridiculous line over and over in the discussions: "Jerry would not have wanted this." It is very short sighted to presume the thoughts and stances of a very clever man who died 13 years ago. Remember that he was a dynamic soul and might very well have gone in any number of directions. If he lived into the 21st century he may have become good friends with George W. Bush and helped change the direction of the world. He may have chosen a life of crime and gone on the lam. He could have said nothing at all about the past 3 elections and this current one. The point is this: If you choose to use your vision of Jerry Garcia to try to win an argument, you do not get it (and I am quite sure you need to adjust your mindset if you want to grow as a person.)
